This is a contributing factor on why the app has been so successful.

3. Participate in what everyone is talking about. Regardless of whether you are interested  in Pokémon Go, this game is something that millions of people are talking about and if done properly, your business can benefit from it. If your business is lucky enough to be within reach of a “Pokéstop” or a Pokémon Go “Gym”, you have an advantage.

Many businesses are offering discounts for players who catch Pokémon in their establishment. Giving a 10% discount on coffee or other purchases is a great incentive for players who would be playing the game anyway. Furthermore, this can help businesses attract new and loyal customers.

No matter what you choose to do, you are grabbing the attention of many. If you are not a business near a stop, you can still benefit from this by bringing your business to them.
