Why Choose Think Profits as your Pay-Per-Click Agency?
We’re proud of our values and have put a few reasons why Think Profits has been around since 1996. Whether you work with us or not, we would recommend using these points as a starting point in finding a reputable agency.

You Own Your Ad Account
Whether we have set it up for you or not, your accounts will always be just that, YOUR accounts. In our experience, we have had many clients come to us from other agencies that have held on to ownership of their ad accounts as a way of maintaining control. Some even charge you $2400 to get access! Why are they hiding this from you? We feel this is an unethical practice. We believe in empowering our clients, collaborating together, and ensuring that ownership and control of your accounts stay rightfully in your hands.

Close to 30 Years of Experience
Our experience in Pay-Per-Click is as old as the industry. We have watched first-hand the transformation of the web since 1996. We truly understand the digital challenges for small and medium-sized businesses because we have lived through them and conquered them all!

Transparent Pricing With No Long Term Contracts
We present our services the same way we like to purchase them, with transparent pricing and no long-term commitments. Our clients stay with us as long as they are happy, we have some clients who have stayed with us for over 26 years. We offer cancellation with 30 days’ notice.

You Know How Much is Being Paid to Google
Many agencies bake their fees into your ad spend budget, where you often are not aware of how much you’re paying them vs how much is going towards your ad budget. We are fully transparent, and your ads spend comes from your own ads account, which you know where each dollar spent is going.

Consolidated and Actionable Reporting
We believe in providing our clients with honest, straightforward reporting that reflects the true performance of their campaigns. Unlike others who may inflate numbers to present a more favorable outcome, we ensure the integrity of our reporting by sourcing our data directly from Google, Microsoft, Semrush, Email and the Social Platforms. This approach not only ensures accuracy but also allows our clients to have a clear understanding of their return on investment (ROI). Trust in our transparent reporting means you’re always informed and in control of your digital marketing strategy.

AI-Enabled – Human Driven
We believe in harnessing AI technology to lower your labor cost’s were we can, then enhance it with our human expertise for the best results for your Pay Per Click campaigns.

Common Pay-Per-Click Management Questions
How much should my ad budget be?
Your ad budget is determined by many factors, such as how competitive your industry is, how many ad groups you would like to run, and well of course, your marketing budget. We work with a variety of budgets and are happy to work within your comfort zone to get you the results you need.
Do you manage Google Local Ads?
Yes! We specialize in small and medium-sized companies in the service industry. We include Google Local Ads management in our Silver and Gold packages, and it is available as a service add-on to our Bronze package. Learn More Here.
What is involved in account setup?
After we have a thorough understanding of your company, goals and budget we get to work with detailed keyword research, creating your campaigns and ad groups, define your target audience, and set up performance tracking.
I have an existing ad account, do I still need to pay for setup?
For our clients who come to us with an established ad account, our setup process looks a little different. Namely, instead of the creation of the account, we will perform an in-depth audit of your existing account. There are times when these accounts require an entire overhaul to get these accounts running in tip-top shape, these audits often take longer than our traditional account setup. For this reason, our account setup fee is still needed.
What is remarketing, and how is it beneficial?
Remarketing allows your ad to conveniently “pop up” for users who have visited your website previously. It keeps potentially interested clients engaged with your brand.
How do I track my leads and ROI?
Track Lead Source: Identify where leads originate (website, social media, etc.) to see which channels are most effective by setting up proper tracking in Google Analytics.
Measure Lead Quality: Track how many leads convert into sales and qualified opportunities.
Use Call Tracking Tools: These tools assign unique phone numbers to marketing campaigns, allowing you to see which campaigns generate calls and track conversion rates
With Chat GPT and other AI Platforms why would I pay for content development?
Great question! It’s true that ChatGPT is a very powerful tool, we utilize AI in many ways here at Think Profits. However, there are several reasons why a professional is still needed.
Quality and Accuracy: AI struggles with up-to-date factual information, a lot of research and industry knowledge is needed to produce trustworthy and informative content that your readers will actually enjoy (Google as well). There is still no replacement for the human touch that understands your audience, marketing goals and brand’s voice, all at the same time.
SEO Expertise: While advancements with AI can greatly improve productivity and efficiency when developing content, an expert is still needed to develop content that can both rank and convert. A seasoned SEO professional is needed to optimize content to compete effectively in search rankings and update strategies based on ever-changing search engine algorithm changes
If I'm doing PPC do I Also Need SEO?
PPC is a great way to drive clients to your website pretty much immediately, but SEO is the long game. SEO is needed for building a long-term strategy and is more sustainable and cost-efficient. SEO Strategies also improve your user experience (UX), making your site more likely to convert on your PPC Campaigns. Combining both SEO with PPC gives you a well-balanced digital marketing diet. Importantly, SEO and a well designed website user experience also lowers your cost per click advertising with google. The better you build your website content the more google rewards you with higher search rankings and lower cost per click advertising.
How do I know what keywords to bid on?
- Define your goals: What do you want to achieve with your PPC campaign? Are you looking for brand awareness, gaining more leads, or sales? Knowing this helps identify the best keywords to use.
- Identify your target audience: Who are you trying to reach? Understanding their needs, demographics and search behavior allows you to target the keywords they might be using to search for you.
- Research relevant keywords: Use PPC research tools like Google Keyword Planner, Ahrefs and SemRush to discover keywords related to your products/services and target audience.
- Consider search intent: Focus on keywords that reflect purchase intent rather than informative.
- Balance search volume and competition: Ideal keywords have a good balance of being searched for often enough (high volume) but not competing against too many advertisers (low competition)
I don't have access to my Google Ad account from my current agency, what can I do?
There are times when agencies attempt to withhold access from your accounts. We greatly disagree with this practice. Here are a few options you can try.
- Review your contract: Check your contract with this agency to see if there are any clauses regarding account ownership and access
- Request access: Try contacting your previous agency and request login credentials for your Google Ads account. Be polite but firm in your request
- Escalate if needed: If the agency refuses to grant access, you may need to escalate the issue to Google. They can help mediate the transfer of ownership
Important note: If you cannot regain access to your old account, you’ll need to create a new one. In this case, gather as much information as possible about your old campaigns for reference. We’d be happy to assist you in starting a new ad account which will provide you access to right away!
