The Candidate

You will be responsible for consistently winning new business via inbound and outbound initiatives, proposing a wide range of digital marketing solutions (web design, SEO, PPC, social media, content) to medium-sized businesses in our targeted sectors in Canada and North America. 

You are expertly skilled in outbound prospecting, cold calling, social media outreach, and email marketing, qualifying prospects, utilizing our CRM,  establishing our value proposition, and booking meetings to bring new business to our table. As a sales executive, you are customer facing in assisting and supporting the onboarding of new accounts. You will also be accountable to continuously nurture customer relationships with existing customers. 

If you are a highly motivated individual for a sales role in a digital marketing agency, you may find this to be a great fit. Ideally this individual would be able to work up to a VP Sales role.

The Role

    • Work independently with the ability to problem solve quickly
    • Prospect and qualify new accounts through cold calling efforts
    • Employ effective consultative sales and account procurement techniques including pre-call planning and productive questioning strategies
    • Present and sell our offerings through outbound sales calling, virtual video meetings, and in-person meetings
    • Capitalize on sales opportunities by demonstrating superb organizational and follow-up abilities
    • Maintain knowledge around our digital offerings, the competition, the digital marketing industry, and factors influencing the market environment to provide advantageous insights for prospects and customers
    • Consistently obtain prospects to opt into our email marketing for future email drip campaigns
    • Close and complete contracts and change orders
    • Assist in booking existing client meetings for account reviews, email marketing campaigns and new product releases
    • Renew clients and provide check-in calls to assure the account is being serviced and productive
    • Exhibit strong knowledge and ability to work with a (CRM) customer relationship management system
    • Strong understanding of email prospecting
    • Acquire testimonials
    • Communicate with the management team with weekly reports
    • Perform other duties as required within the scope of the job

Skills & Requirements

    • Strong cold-calling and lead generation capabilities
    • Exceptional command of the English language both verbal and written
    • Excellent communication skills, phone skills, and presentation skills
    • Enthusiasm for the process of investigating, prospecting, creating, and fulfilling the company’s vision of businesses growth needs
    • Highly detail-orientated
    • Strong outbound prospecting and closing skills
    • Ability to consistently meet sales quotas
    • Able to operate under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
    • Strong command of MS Office and G-Suite skills
    • Demonstrate ability to work remotely using platforms in Google, Microsoft and Zoom
    • Strong command of CRM use and account record updating
    • Technological proficiency and strong working knowledge of the internet, mobile technologies, computer applications and business systems
    • Able to show innovation and creativity in the form of continuous improvement to internal processes
    • A passion in digital marketing
    • A strong commitment to a positive, collaborative, and team-based selling culture
    • The skills to be a self-starter, and diligently make the calls and do the outreach to book appointments
    • A passion for follow up and closing

Experience in the following is not required but would be a great asset

  • Email Marketing software
  • Marketing Automation software
  • Sharpspring or Hubspot CRM or equivalent
  • Ravetree or equivalent PM software


  • Base Draw Negotiable and will depend on experience 
  • Commission rates are on a variable scale depending on your base draw. Income potential is unlimited.
