Since 1987, Quality Stage Drapery has been a leading manufacturer and installer of stage drapery, industrial curtains, cubicle curtains, as well as theatrical and gymnasium equipment. They also had two other divisions that ran as separate entities and websites known as QSD Trade Show Displays and QSD Event Services. They decided to consolidate all of their businesses under one website using a new corporate brand.

The company had outgrown the name “Quality Stage Drapery”. A new corporate identity was required to encompass all of their products and appeal to new clients, yet maintain the recognition of current clients. Similarly, the three websites had to be consolidated into one user-friendly and Search Engine Optimized website.

During the rebranding strategy, it was revealed that current clients already referred to the company as “QSD”, short for “Quality Stage Drapery”. The trade show and event rentals divisions already operated with the QSD moniker so it was decided to make this the new name of the company. QSD-inc.com was registered as the official new domain.
An innovative website was designed to reflect current design trends. SEO landing pages were expanded to include the current landing pages for the curtain division and also the trade show displays and event services divisions.
An exciting new logo was designed that incorporated the new blue colour scheme and bold font. Three diamonds pointing forward accompany the name QSD and represent the three company divisions. The website home page design includes product buttons that flip around like curtains when hovered over. Interior pages feature a large image featuring QSD products.
A rebranding message at the top of the website reassures Quality Stage Drapery customers that they will receive the same exceptional service and products they are accustomed to.
Within a week of launch, QSD was receiving emails and phone calls for products they normally didn’t receive inquiries for. Within two weeks, many of their primary keywords for their main products were organically ranking on Google, Bing, and Yahoo search engine results pages one and two.
