On Saturday June 29th, the Think Profits team will be volunteering our time to tend garden at the Canuck Place Children\u2019s Hospice. Rain or shine, it is our great pleasure to donate our time to help make the grounds of this outstanding facility look its best.
Canuck Place is a children\u2019s hospice that provides care for children with life-threatening illnesses. They provide the children and their families access to hospice care when hospital or home care no longer meets their needs.
It became the first free standing children\u2019s hospice in North America when it opened its doors in November 1995. Today, it is recognized globally as a leader in pediatric palliative care, which is the caring and comforting of children living with progressive, life-threatening illnesses. Canuck Place generously shares their knowledge, expertise and research with the international community to help further the development of care in this field.
Canuck Place encourages children to \u201cembrace life\u201d. They work tirelessly to enhance the quality of life for every child who comes to their facility.
